Our study of spatial spread raises a tremendous number of improtant issues and questions. In particular, all of the models we have studied make a tremendous number of simplifying assumptions. Some of these assumptions we have not even stated explicitly. Discuss how different choices, and different assumptions about the underlying biology, might lead to different models and outcomes. Consider whether you think it would be easy (or possible) to incorporate your different approach in a model that could be analysed. Also give your conjecture about how the outcome (the rate of spread) would be affected by your proposed changes. Make use of the reading you have been asked to do for this topic.
