About Matt

matt hollandWelcome to my home page. I am a graduate student in the Population Biology Graduate Group at the University of California, Davis. My interests center on the population dynamics and evolutionary characteristics of structured populations. I have an ongoing project concerning the consequences of diapause for genetic variation in a freshwater copepod, Eudiaptomus graciloides. I am also currently working on building software to carry out simulations of spatially structured population dynamics. This site also contains information about some of the things I do in my free time. I'm especially proud of my origami, though the pictures I have up here are pretty out of date. If this page looks strange, it's probably because your browser either doesn't support style sheets (unlikely), or it supports some version of the CSS (non-) standard other than Netscape/Mozilla. 6/22/2002 - Newsflash! I'm not a soccer star!Really, I'm not. If you don't believe me, take a look at this.
This site is a constant work in progress. Let me know if you love, hate, or otherwise have strong feelings about the design, layout, or content of this website. |
